In October 2022 the County Council launched a pilot project to encourage people to take advantage of surplus food rescue services, which in turn works to reduce the amount of edible food that ends up in people’s household rubbish bins.

This scheme is running from two Community Food Hubs locally, at Southwick and Worthing, on just one morning each month until at least April 2024. See the dates and locations on the WSCC web page.
