Space At The Table

A community meals scheme run by local people for local people.

January’s event was a Roast Dinner served to thirty plus people at Lancing Tabernacle from noon to 1pm. This was made possible by the work of Food Bank volunteers and church members with help and donations from Electric Storm, the Lions, the Co-op, Dave Brown.

We had conjuror, escapologist, and all-round good egg, Steve Legg, booked for afternoon entertainment, but he had to go into the Royal Marsden hospital for a cancer op (which has been pronounced a success); there are some things that even an escapologist can’t avoid.
